Often GPS devices and phone map apps are set to a most direct route setting which directs you to unpaved roads. Please only go off-roading if you want to not because the app tells you to! When traveling through La Luz do not turn on section road, instead, stay on La Luz rd./main street all the way through the town, then curve right and head towards the mountains on Laborcita Canyon Rd.
